Saw a photo of French Thing on Samba, seemed to have a lift kit of 6 cm.
or my preference 2 to 3 inches. Any ideas? Who would have hardware or parts. Have not checked The Thing Shop yet. Thanks. Gabrielli

They make a 3in body lift for a thing... Also you can get a raised beam and/or raised spindles.
For the rear you just notch and adjust it up! _________________ • Metal Fab & Quality Suspensions, Type I-II-III. Since 2004 • |

There is a few threads on it already with a bunch of pictures, if you use the search function many should show up.
I understand the body lift kits do not fit as well as bug types do. Members here have shown pictures on how they had to modify around the tunnel. It would be a good opportunity to do any pan replacement. |

I recently purchased the Up yer Bug lift from Andy, and it was $500 with shipping, which would be the same for you, I am in Austin, and I can not imagine shipping to SA is any more from San Diego(Vista). Andy's number is 760.726.0130 if you are so inclined.
Good Luck! |
