| When I was young these cars were often owned by girls, is that untrue today? |

I like to think it takes a secure person to own a Thing. One that is subtle "cool" in their own right. One that doesn't have time or need to win the affection of uber-hot models.
At least that's what I tell myself as I cry to sleep each night... |

the Thing has been my dream car for almost my entire life and, my father aside, when I bought it everyone immediately questioned the purchase and chastized me for buying such a disgusting car that needed work (well, a new paint job anyway)... I'm fine with that though
my gf (who's into 50's American classics) even questioned it, but once I brought up the fact that we can drive down the shore with the top and windows off she changed her mind...
when the weather gets nicer I might even be able to get her to pose with the car, but we'll see what happens |

| That white 73 Thing has door hinge mirror mounts and no holes in the door(74) for the mirro. That is how my Things are set up. |

Is that gas cap painted orange or just rusted??
and is it just me or are there no hinges on the front door?
These are questions that need to be answered... |

I assume the gas cap is on of these after market deals:
I have one and it looks orange-ish. _________________ '73 Thing -- making 45 mph exciting again. |

Only in Europe! You'll never see those type of pictures being taken at a car show in the States... Or have I been going to the wrong car shows?! _________________

I've seen models walking through car shows selling modelling services directly at the show.
She looks hot!
I'm plotting my photo shoot(s) for this summer. I've one friend who's a babe, an ex model, a nudist, and likes VWs, and another friend who's a great photographer and she doesn't mind helping me with racey pics.
Gotta get my car running first... come on CIP, ship my order!! |

well her top must have fallen off in the pic I found, but then again I don't think I was supposed to find that pic
I was seriously just looking through to look at other cars and then realized "hey wait, her bra is off in this one"
btw, was that teal color ever a factory color? I've seen quite a few painted like that (and I don't mean the white with teal acapulco ones)
