where to look for the dates stamped on rims

Hi Gang,
Where about would I look for the stamped dates on the wide 5 rims?
I've got 4- 16" and a mess-o-15" and some 14" rims I'm trying to ID

between the hub cap clips and lug holes outside of wheel, at least on the 15s.

some scrubbin and squintin might be involved..

A lot of times they are one spot over from the VW symbol, which is stamped deeper and easier to see.
