I don't know if anyone is comming north on the five from south of Magic mountain.. but if you are.. we are planning to meet off of Lyons Av. at the 76 station. I don't know what time exactly but if your interested hit me up!!!!

I had planned on cruising down in the bus with the noon group but the transmission on my girls car took a dump. So it doesn't look like I'll be able to make it.
Doesn't it suck having priorities and being responsible?
I had the time off from work (scheduled like a month in advance) and everything.

Sounds like your responsiblities and priorities are all f'ed up!!!! You didn't take time off work to fix your girls transmission did you???

I was sent this e-mail by a guy who was putting together a group of SCV VW owners interested in cruising out to the show together. He also posted in this thread but I think its been pushed down so far that no one is seeing it. The meet is at the COC parking lot where they do the auto fair and they say they're leaving at 7 am SHARP. Check it out.
A few of us are getting together and cruising out to the Bugs and Buses Invade the Village on March 31. It is in Bakersfield at the Kern County Museum. I have posted our meeting place and time on the Samba...click below.

If you'd like to join us...that would be great. Invite whoever. One of our guys has an office in Bakersfield and said we can park any trailers there for whoever wants to tow their car up instead.

I've seen the COC thing.. the problem that I see is that a few of the airspeed club memebers are comming up and don't want to drive too far off the freeway. Thats why I was suggesting that we meet at the 76 right off lyons. We could top off our tanks and move on. Either way I would rather drive up ALL together. Let me talk to the airspeed guys and see what we can do..

| Im excited for this. I grew up in Bako, (now in SD), and went to Pioneer Village many times as a kid. It is an awesome place for a vw show. i hope to see some nice rides there. |
