I managed to get both pieces for my 73 from Mike Basso two years ago(let's don't go into that situation). Both were used but in excellent shape. Seems I paid about $50 for both. Mine also were completely shot. Replacing them was a difficult job. I have no understanding that you can still buy them as aftermarket so your best bet is to try to find someone parting out a car. Sorry for gloomy outlook. _________________ It's a Southern Thing, 73, stock.

If you are talking about the two piece cardboard unit the fits under the dash I have both pieces in very good condition that I could sell.

Ha ha ha, defrost!! ha ha ha _________________ --- The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at and repair.

Do a search in the Gallery for "heat" and "duct" with the user name "mstatedog" and you will find several pics of great fabrication like this

M State Dog posted the best pictures that BEER can provide when he created there works of art. These are finsest I have ever seen. I have a pile of these oe parts that are available for low cost as a result of their less than perfect but very repairable and usable condition. K-mann |
