| My generator light started coming on. When I bang on the steering wheel it goes off until I hit another bump or something. Ya think this a problem with horn circuit—anybody else had this problem if so what was your cure? |

| I suspect a bad connection in the speedo in relationship to the generator warning light. The gen light has a constant groundfrom its body and get a positive connection to the center spade when the gen drops in voltage. But if you have a positive wire floating arond loose back there it could touch the spade and light the light when you hit bumps and disconnects when you hit the steering wheel. Just a guess. This is a better lieklyhood if you have no troubles starting the car and are not experiencing a dead battery. |
