Make sure they use AS1 glass and not AS2. AS2 is quite a lot cheaper than AS1 and the glass shop may substitute it while charging for AS1. Also request that the AS1 marking is visible somewhere on the glass after it is installed. The only legal glass for windshields is AS1 or AS10. AS10 is much too thick for a Thing. _________________ Licensed Automotive Service Technician

I noticed a 67 Bus service bulletin that said that the split window bus glass is different thicknesses front and back and it had to be installed a specific way. Is this true for Things?
Chris, I live in Cupertino and my windshield is cracked from top to bottom. If you get one made locally can you get a second one for me. I can pick it up any time.
email me at [email protected] or use thesamba.
Or if you want I can look for prices in the South Bay
Thanks in advance _________________ 63 singlecab

The AS1 stamp should be readable from the outside _________________ Licensed Automotive Service Technician
