Good luck !! Maybe an oil change wouldn't be too much, as checking brake fluid level !!

Check air in tires
Test Brake system
Check lights

But most importantly, check all the nooks and crannies for surprises like furry ones and those that slither. Surprises whilst on the road are no fun at all. Shocked

I have always found that if the engine does not start I am mad but if the brakes do not work I am terrified!!! Always check break first!!! Shocked

i actually replaced a wheel cylinder just before i parked it.

i never had a chance to bleed them at the time.

so , checking the brakes is a given Smile

i am also missing a couple of exuast studs. that has been a pesky problem since last year. i am finally going to fix it right.

my tires have been on the thing since the late 80's Shocked so i have a nice fresh set im going to have installed this weekend.

my pumpkin is in pretty good shape cosmetically. i have just been neglecting her mechanically for too long. but not anymore.

she will be fixed up proper and tight again. its gonna be a great summer. i think i'll make it my daily again for the next few months. Wink

I call it "good-natured". If you own a Thing, you HAVE to possess a sense of fun and humor!
