I am a long time lurker here, and finally after a little hiatus from Thingdom, I am jumping back in and have a question about '73 fan shrouds. Is the only difference the lack of the heater air tubes? Is there any difference inside the shroud, in the vanes or anything. It seems that if there isn't, then another year doghouse shroud could have the air tubes cut off and the resulting holes patched. Does anybody think there would be a market for something like this if the work was done professionally and didn't look like Frankenstein? If this was available, and looked just like a stock shroud, what would you be willing to pay for something like that, seeing that stock '73 shrouds are going for $200+up? I haven't seen this discussed before, and I did a search, so sorry if it's a repeat.

Thanks, it didn't come up in my search. That pretty much answered all my questions, and was interesting reading to boot.
