Does anyone have or know of a link to a picture of the luggage rack that was an option with the hard top? I had an old URL to an accessories page that seems to be dead now.
Thanks,
Mike

How much luggage can you put on those roofs without reinforcement?

Could be off an old Ford Bronco... or Jeep... I'll bet there are a lot of racks that could be adapted to work.

thats an actual vw thing luggage rack and hardtop from VWOA.

Judging from the picture, it looks like VW rated it for the weight of a couple bags and a hatbox.

No - the photo is from a CAR ad, not part ad http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=501240
