Hello,
during the last week, I broke 2 speedo cable. After looking why, I found where the cable enter into the speedo, the inner sleeve (who turn with the cable) of the speedo is going to seize and its really hard to turn.

Do Thing speedo is a "thing" only or a bug is the same. I look into the classified ang bug looks different...

Is it possible to rebuild the speedo or do you know someone who do it.

To answer your question, the Thing Speedometer is a little different in that some of the others from that era had indicator lights that Things didn't use (e.g., ATF). Non-Thing speedometers work fine, you may just have some non-functioning lights and the shift markers may be off a little.
