Thanks!
Good read, and it takes me back to my Cub Scout days pouring over car magazines |

Yeah but, how about that high-tech "instamatic" camera. 110 cartridge film. Yowza!! not quite digital dvd movies but you could take pictures at a tennis game (or so the ad claims) |

The worst thing about that 110 camera ad is that it says it costs "Less than $68," which equates to about $300 in today's dollars! Anyone who's owned a 110 camera knows how scary that is. _________________ I'm All About My Fetti! |

Especially if you consider that a 5 megapixal camera can be had for $30 today... |

I remember paying $70 for a desktop, plug-in-only calculator back in the day which did all of the following:
- add
- subtract
- multiply
- divide
- turn on and off
Now, you can get graphing calculators from Texas Instruments that does stuff I don't even understand -- and math was one of my double-majors -- for the same (non-price indexed) price. _________________ Now: 2003 New Beetle Turbo S / 1990 Single Cab Transporter / 2014 Tiguan R-Line 4motion / 2013 Tiguan S / 2002 Golf GLS TDI
