I am reinstalling my lower torsion arms and am stuck. Every time I knock one side in the other side pops out. What am I missing?

there is a dogpoint set screw on the torsion arm you must secure. if left unsecured then the grease seal in combination with air pressure wil knock the other one out

From what I can tell there are three set screws I am dealing with, one in them middle off the bar and one on each arm. Could you tell me which are supposed to be in and out? Thanks!

leave the one in the middle alone. if you alredy messed with it, then you need to take off the arms and slide the torsion bar back and forth until you find the indentation in the bar with the screw point. be sure all the bars leaves are lined up on the end, before tightening down the screw. the factory does weld the leaves together, but the welds always break. all three screws must be tight when the job is done

Took me awhile and a lot of screwing up, but I got the job done. Just to clarify for anyone in the future, when you say

you mean put in one arm and secure the setscrew, and then put on the other with the setscrew out, right? I thought you meant secure both setscrews, and it just wasn't working (duh). When I finally removed the setscrew on the second arm I was trying to put on (after the first was and and secured in place), all that extra grease came squirming out.
