Hello.
I bought a blue 1978 vw super beetle convertible in need of body and paint work. Can any one help me . I'm trying to find the paint code not sure where it's located. Are the numbers in the front by the hood latch are the paint code. if not where could I find it.

If you lucky the sticker will still be there but often after several repaints or time the sticker is not there.
On the Super Beetle look on the "strut towers" for a silver label with the color name in German and a code.
Here is an example... but on a fastback.
