Thing fender size

I was wondering if anyone can measure how wide their front and rear fenders are. I need the distance from the body to the outer edge on the top of the fenders.

I guess I am trying to figure out what the heck is on mine, bolted on my el tigre wheels to see if I wanted to run them or sell them and realized my fender/s are weird

Are your fenders fiberglass? The Thing Shop sells fiberglass fenders that are widened 4" to accommodate wider tires. Here is a pic and a link:

This could be what you've got?! Yours are definately wider than O.E.

yep they are glass, never really thought anything of them unitll now, funny. Now I get to start hunting for factory ones, great

Keep an eye on the classifieds. You should be able to recoup a little by selling your fiberglass ones. I've seen glass fenders going for $50 to $60 +. Smile
