What's the most, weight wise, that you've ever hauled in your SC or DC? _________________ Comics and posters with a dark sense of humor and curmudgeonly attributes:

White dwarf star. Weight - 3x10^23 metric tons
Seriously though, that '63 has over 3000 lbs. in it, mostly concrete. I did a slightly smaller load after that.
I have done over 1 ton in my '54. _________________ How to: Post Photos | Search

Hehe, nerdiness.
I thought maybe a neutron star would weigh more..

I hauled 2400 lbs in my widebed to the dump once.
I hauled 4000 lbs in Clara's 15-window 700 miles home once......it drove better than the truck.
I think the weight distribution on a panelvan is better.
The heaviest load was in the '58 panel, that was certainly 4000+.

I think that was at least 5 engines and at least 3 trannys, in addition to the rest of the crap you can see. _________________ I don't mind eccentric people i just don't care for shit heads.

Yeah, it's a fat chick, but I hauled 1-1/2 yards of gravel in my SC - 8 times.

A load of insulation in my panel - I was tempted to cut the bands, but then I'd never get it out...

40hp. Ran fine but it took a little longer to stop. There is a small hill on the way to the dump with a stop light at the bottom. It turned red when I was halfway down and I coasted through most of the intersection while standing on the brake pedal. _________________ How to: Post Photos | Search

It was a mile, maybe two. Not as much as three.
Scraped the tailpipe tip.
It was lowered about 7 inches, 7 1/2"?
If the wood was all perfectly dry, it would have been lighter.

This doghouse wasn't superheavy, but it looks funny in the back of the truck. I was taking it to a friend's house.

2 loader scoops of wet mulch, probably around 3000 lbs? Truck didn't like stopping, at all, pretty much rolled through all the stop signs. Also, loaded the bed full of snow once, nice dome up to the cab roof. That shit was really heavy. _________________ www.BussesandBabes.com |

I've put alot of weight in a panel and a single cab. Don't know the amount but I really like the way they handle with weight. Takes the bouncy edge off and makes the reduction boxes really happy. _________________ 62 Singlecab - I kinda like it
