im thinking about going back to the stock four lug on my 69.
the po had put wheel adaptors and a set of american eagles empi wide five rims.
i have changed the drums to that of a 67 in front and rear to ditch the adaptors but i think when i do the front drums over to disk i will go to the four lug.
just curious on how many people out there might have went to the five and then went back to four lug?
maybe i should keep the wide five look....? |

You wont need adapters if you use 66-67 bug front drums. The rear is just about as easy if you use wide 5 rear drums with the spacer between the axle nut and the drum. _________________ GFK

i used the 67 drums in front and rear.
the rear with a spacer.
if you do it dont forget to buy new rear shoes for a 67 on the front its the same size.
sorry i never took any pictures but there are a crapload of threads that go into detail on this if you use the search. |
