When I ran the 1.5" long thread-in studs, 13mm on CB rotors I didn't have enough threads to safely run 5/16" spacers for the rear (although I still did, and got at least 5k miles on it before I swapped wheels and rotors).
I'm running 12mmx1.5, 1.75"-long thread-in studs now, with about 3/16" spacers in the back. Plenty of thread. I have 17" BRMs, with alloy tuner-style lock nuts. The 2.5"-long studs would probably work for my application, but only with the thicker spacers as I have capped nuts.
I've been getting all of my studs and nuts from Summit Racing, they're down the street from my work so it's easy for me to go in there and make them work looking up this stuff, and fun to watch them try to understand what a mm, or mil, or millimeter is. They sell Gorilla wheel hardware, you just have to go in there with the part numbers off their website (or order the stuff if you don't have a store close-by).
I don't know what you need for the Gas Burners - I've never tried to fit them, and don't know the lug hole thickness, but I would run the 1.75s to avoid bottoming on the lug cap (unless you're running open-end nuts or the really long nuts), and the 1.5s are too short with any spacer. 1.75 to play it safe. |
