Hi
yesterday I started this 74 westy I just got. It hadn't been started in 22 years. After sanding the point and getting it some fuel it didn't turn 5 times and started. Acorns and mice was coming out of everwhere.

Don't drive it like that until you have removed all the tin and gotten that crap out of the fins and oil cooler.

I put on doors pulls, no more opening the window to close the door!
And after 8 months of no tunes...a stereo!

Man, those tail lights made me want to hurl. Thanks for getting rid of them.
I have a feeling you're going to find some very interesting hack jobs as you get to know your new bus.

No shit. Apparently the tails were activated by toggle switch, as is the horn and blinkers. I removed a ton of superflous wiring. I like it though. Its a solid bulkhead non walkthrough.

Saturday I took my kids to a cub scout hike in the Westy and had a picnic afterwards. We were loving it...

Twisted Evil

OMG - I thought that was a Photoshop job at first!
(until I looked at your other pics)
How much are you selling that front windshield for? (assuming it's crack and chip free)

I fixed my sticking throttle. Accelerator pedal had so much dirt/rust stuck in it at the floor that it'd stick half way down to fully down. Lubed up the underside parts of the system and cable as well. I went ahead and attached a return spring too.

i looked at it a few times and put off fixing it again.

but that was mostly due to working on locating the leak in the fish pond out back, prepping a section of the garden, and planting a bunch of stuff in the greenhouse.

I would love to see a picture of your floor. I think the world could use a little more "peace" myself!
