I have a set of Mahle Baby Gas Burners
(Ball seat)
I need the correct length
(overall or thread length)
i can only find screw in studs
from 1 1/2" - 1 3/4" - 2 1/2" (overall length)
http://www.prestigewheel.com/Image2800.asp#14%20mm%20-%20Base%20Thread
i would like to go for screw in studs with ball/conicle seat conversion washers and nuts (blue if i can find them)
but if it doesnt come to that
Just lug bolts
but i need to know the CORRECT ones
so i dont have any brake issues.
i know someone a couple people out there have them on there type 3s
And i need some good solid info

Those look like the same lug-studs that I got with my Radars from CIP1. They are way too long. I had to bolt the wheel to a junk drum and cut the excess off with a die grinder to clear the brakes. Now they are the same lenth as a stock lug-stud.
Why can't they just sell ones that are stock length? Also the chrome is not so great and they started to rust. Time to buy new ones...hopefully better.
I can imagine how many people don't know this and destroy their brakes with the studs!! |

I'm running discs all around with Pedrini wheels. No problem. |
