Originals are made of magnesium and the new ones are aluminum. Orig are available at a steep price, just depends what you can afford or what you are willing to pay. 25 years ago a set of 5 good ones and 1 poor cond was for sale for $600. Oh the good ol' days. Laughing

From what I have read, the magnesium type will need polishing more often than the reproduction aluminum type.

The OG BRM's also don't have a "bead seat" area on the inside of the rim Shocked

o.g. one have round indents on the spokes and they're much lighter.. also if there cracked there o.g. haha
