Hi I am new to this board. I have a question regarding wide wheels. I have a set at jackman rims that I plan on putting on a 1963 Beetle. I have two 15 by 6 which I plan too put in the front along with 195/60/15 tires. For the rear I am not sure. I have a 15 by 7, which is fine, and I have a 15 by 8. I planed on using 215/60/15 tires, but will an 8 inch rim fit on a 215 tire/ 63 beetle. I was told 225 tires and a 8 inch rim. will stick out of the fenders. With an 7 inch and a 8 inch rim, using the same size tire, should it not be noticeable correct? I was thinking of selling these rims and just buying spoke wheels. Any suggestions will be helpful. Thank you.
