Hi,
I'm new to this site and have a couple of questions I was hoping someone could answer as I do not currently own a VW. (I used to own a '62 Bug I should have kept...)
Could someone give me the dimension from the axle centerline to the motor mounting surface on the bellhousing and from the axle centerline to the farthest point on the shifter end of the transaxle? I'm trying to see if I have room for a project if I use a VW transaxle. Thanks for any help.

No one has a transaxle laying around that they could do a quick tape measure measuring job on? |

From bell housing o center line of axle - 7 1/4"
From center line of axle to mount surface - 13"
From center line of axle to end of shift rod - 18"
And what the heck are you doing awake so early? You make me tired! _________________ Mother Nature is a Mean Evil Bitch! |

I have an hour drive to work and have to be there by seven and I like to get there 20 minutes early for coffee consumption!! Early to bed, early to rise....something about healthy, wealthy and wise. I'm still waiting for the wealthy part. Right now I'm basically just tired... |
