I drive it 92 miles per day. I work nights and most of that drive is kinda backroads so I have to clean bugs off the windshield twice a day.

Nice! thats the way to do it.

My bug is my only (running) vehicle, its hard to do a semi-restoration on a car when you have to be able to drive it the next day.

I don't have my liscence yet but when i get it this is going to be by daily driver, but it will be parked thru the winter. It's a '66 it still has the original 1300cc in it but am planning to upgrade to a 1600 sp or 1776.

My 64 Daily Driver, 1835, Dells, big valve heads, Engle 120 cam, etc.
stock 4:37 R&P. Its a ball to drive around town.
BUT last weekend, I took it on a 30 mile Interstate run
to a car show in another town...
I never had it on the freeway before.
75 MPH, 95° temps, short gears, high RPMs = Anxiety! Sad
The car did good, but I need to get a 4:12 R&P transaxle in this thing! Surprised
