|
|
I'll be introducing my latest Bolt-on Long Travel A-Arm kit for Sandrails at the Sand Sports Super Show this weekend.
Stop by and check it out as well as my Off-Road A-Arm Kit for VW based vehicles. Maybe even have a beer on me...

front end looks good, i know its supposed to be entirely bolt on but the mount for the rear section looks like it could come loose while off roading, but just welding in a piece wouldn't be hard, but then again it may not come loose. needs some testing, you should donate one to me for some field testing. _________________ never forget 1-31-07 |

Price?
Is there more information about how the rear brackets mount?
How far back do the rear arms mount?
It looks like a steering box is also included.
Will the spindles work with brakes?

That's pretty slick. What sort of adjustment do you have where the rearward part of the a-arms connect to the existing frame? Not all frames are the same there. That's about as close a "bolt-on" set up as I've ever seen. _________________ Tehachapi, CA

haha yeah I seen this posted on GD.com also and that you must have a brewery at your disposal. It truly does look like an awesome setup. If I weren't picking up am a-arm rail this weekend I'd seriously consider this.
BTW how much travel are you getting out of this? |

www.a-arm.com go to it . His number is there . Call him his name is Pete. He can and will build to what you want. Nothing is set in stone. His shop is state of the art in more ways than you can imagine.
I have not talked with him But looking at the spindles he used. It looks just like the other kit he builds and I would say yes brakes are not a issue. I imagine you can use combo on it just like he put on mine. _________________ Seabee turbo buggy build

Hey Guys....Thanks for the support and the great input on the sandrail kit. The show was a Hit for me and I can't wait to get this new one rolling. There were quite a few Samba people that I finally got to meet and I appreciate them taking the time to say hello. |

Hate to bump an ancient thread, but I've been looking at this kit for almost a year and I've finally gotten the beans to plunk down the cash. I've been calling the shop and emailing, but haven't heard back. Are you still making this setup? I've got a couple questions before I pull the trigger. _________________ Mazda 12A powered Berrien Short-back |
