| anyone know what's up with paypal? it hasn't been available the last couple of days (you'll have to wait for your 'thank you' via snail-mail, everett). i didn't realize that paypal was not earning a good reputation, but there are more than a few sites like http://www.paypalwarning.com/ that obviously indicate otherwise. have i been living under a rock or what to have not heard about any of this before? |

It's worked fine for me, I used it to pay for a couple thing on eBay this week.
http://www.paypalwarning.com/ is BS. There will always be people who have trouble with a business, it's unavoidable. But what's that, 20 people out of 20 million members? I'll take those odds, especially now that eBay owns Paypal. |

| hmmm. i can't open the paypal site direct, from e-bay, etc. and the link graphic doesn't show here. maybe it's cause my isp is closing up shop this week? i hadn't had any problems with paypal before either (i've only made payments through them, not received money). that's the only thing i can think of that would have it all unavailable from my computer. oh, well, i guess it's appropriate that i threw in the business name 'befuddled numbskulls society' when registering my OS... |

| I have used PayPal for several years without incident and collected quite a bit of money. So far, I haven't had any problems at all. My only gripe is the 3% gouge Visa takes on every transaction, what a racket. It does save me from having to get a merchant account. |
