This is a post for everyone restoring a oval thats planning on doing a cloth interior.so... if you got a beautiful cloth interior could you please share! Very Happy

Im hoping we can get most of the range and the paint color to match that way we can use this as a future reference.

Hot VW's did an feature on it that tells it all ......April 2001. Let's just say it's a "Very" early Canadian car and I'm lucky to be it's caretaker. VW of Canada is not happy it's in the States. Wink

That interior should be in my car, minus the piping and vinyl on the top of the door panel.

Standards look like this. I don't want a new interior until I decide what I'm doing with the car. I have since put new vinyl covers and new fabric store panels. The old interior was pretty gross. I am not responsible for the duct tape.

this is not an original interior but made by a company called lebaron bonney.
looks very good even if not original car colour is iceland green

That looks real similar to the cloth og seats in my 57.

It should be an exact match. My car still had the original cloth on the rear seats and it looks exactly the same. Lenny gets the cloth from Germany.

Originals are IMPOSSIBLE.....

Here's a nice reproduction. (originals for ovals are beige/grey and OG for splits are beige/brown)
