Nor-Cal Bus Fest 4. Sunday May 3, 2009 at the Fairgrounds in Vallejo, CA
Nor-Cal Bus Fest 5. Sunday August 16 at the Fairgrounds in Vallejo, CA.
Northern California's premier Type II events are held on the tree-shaded lawns of the Solano County Fairgrounds, and are open to ALL Volkswagen buses and trucks, regardless of year, model or condition. All inclusive adult admission (entry/display/swap) is only $10 per adult and children under 12 are admitted free. Visit www.busfest.net for previous event photos and information.

May be time to bust out the single cab for this one.
I like that they're both on Sunday. It's like going to church... without getting struck by lightening and what not.

According to the registrations from the first 3 Bus Fests, there were at least a dozen buses and trucks from the Tracy/Manteca area at each one. If you need help coordinating a group, I'd be happy to assist, or even put meeting places up on the website. Let me know what I can do to help...

There have been lots of e-mails, some from as far away as Colorado inquiring about Bus Fest 4. It seems that word of mouth about the events is spreading beyond just California and Nevada.
Maybe the out-of state folks can hook up and have a Colorado, Idaho and Nevada caravan. They could even hook up with the Sacramento crew (who always roll in big numbers) for the last leg of the trip into Vallejo.
Let me know if I can help coordinate, or put meeting places on the website.

ill be there once again with 2 of my busses for sure, the panel is questionable.
there will be a caravan leaving my house in richmond at 730am, so anyone interested should be there around no later than 715. this is a cool caravan to meetup with if you are taking I-80 east to get to the show, as I'm only a few blocks off the freeway. the last 3 busfests we had about 15 busses in our group. if interested, PM for the address.
