Theres my handiwork. 3 layers of housepaint. 80% razorblade until I tried aircraft stripper. After it starts bubbling, start scraping. All the baremetal was Bondo that I chipped out. The bus was superstraight when I bought it. Not so much now.

I dont think my hands will let me touch a can of graffiti remover but they constantly get the itch for Krylon.
Back before I worked for the railroads, I was very busy working ON the railroads.
On another note, I started stripping the bus down and ran into alot of spots where the body shop finger sanded rock chips on the nose. I was a little dissapointed with all of the tiny circles everywhere but I may touch up those spots. Is it Wolfsburg West that sells OG colors in spray can?
NAES, mine is turning out exactly the same as yours. With my luck the new owner is gonna send it to MAACO and all the work will be in vain. _________________ 52 Split Rag

Damn Skim....that shit looks like something straight out of Coopers "Subway Art"......I used to shoot pictures of all the artwork in the local yards (L.A. and S.F.) when I was younger and that stuff looks familiar....I should go through all my old pics. |

suffice it to say, Lowes has no clue about anything- go ask them about shower-pan liner ( the grey moister barrier that goes under shower inserts) they don't even know they have it on a huge roll in the plumbing section. (I used it for rpint-making) -
Try a Ben. Moore paint store - or maybe a local Industrial Suppy store- _________________ For those, who wish to contribute to the Dave Mayes scholarship fund, please PM me, read here.

is it wet in that picture? or is that where paint was blended before? have you tried rubbing it out? _________________ I'd rather be a free man in my grave, than living as a puppet or a slave.

So how is rubbing one out going to help his paint? Oh, you meant the paint... _________________ -Andrew

Well here's my pics of the "Graffiti Remover" on my bus...
I had a really bad layer of primer below that belt line that I couldn't stand. I about busted a nut when I found what lies beneath...
The stuff definately works!!! Thanks for the suggestion!!! _________________ "Saying what we think gives us a wider conversational range than saying what we know."
