How serious of a beginner? Just want to try it out or want a first airbrush for a long term hobby? If you just want to try it out, pretty much anything will work for you. A double-action gun would be best. If you are serious and want to learn on something decent, I would recommend an Iwata Eclipse. They're very versatile and not expensive at around $75. I probably have 7 or 8 of them and never have had a problem. _________________

Can't really go wrong with anything Iwata, check Dixieart.com. You can go through and see which you need for whatever application you plan on. I personnally have a HP-C (paint auto murals with) RG-7, i think (also auto murals) an HP-B and a Custom Micron which I use for illustration and indoor murals. Great quality stuff.
Now if you're thinking of a larger production gun to paint entire cars with, I hear the Sata line is very good. _________________ Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid.

I recently started airbrushing and I got the Master G23 with 6feet of hose being ran by a 2HP 6 gallon air compressor I have been told it's a gun you can grow with and the gun and hose cost me $50 from TCPglobal online. Hope this helps _________________ 2006 kawasaki zx-6r
