I have read and heard all about replacing ball joints. Does anyone have a good solution? I was quoted $525.00 to replace the ball joints, tie rods, drag link, and swing arm hole...the kicker, I supply the parts. It is a shame...Much appreciated!

Removing and replacing the torsion arms is not very hard to do.You may need to buy a pickle fork, but they are alot cheaper than labor.
Good luck

Man, don't go grinding things off if you can help it. I'm assuming you have removed the brakes and spindle by now. If you look at the sway bar clamps (which I'm assuming you meant by "stabilizer anchors")the sleeve that is probably giving you the fit is tapered like a "V". Take a cold chisel or blunt punch and tap the end of that sleeve that is the widest part of the V. Usually, the tapered end of the sleeve has a tab bent over it so you can only slide it off one way and back on one way. When you go to put them back on, compress the sway bar clamps enough with some vise grips and the sleeve will tap or slide back on. As far as the torsion arms go, loosen the cinch nut a little and the loosen the worm screw in the center of that nut with your allen head wrench. It should slide out of the torsion tube now, uppers and lowers will both basically come out the same way. When the arm slides out, you will see the pack of steel slats and the dimple the worm screw indexed in. Careful of the edges and corners of those slats, they will cut the livin' crap out of you. Replace the rubber rings that seal your needle bearings from grit while you're doing this job. Installation is reverse of removal. Good luck, be safe.

Oh yeah, when compressing the clamps with the visegrips, squeeze the ends of the clamps where the sleeve slides on- not the middle.
