I'll bet the extra postage we are all giving the USPS since last week is being used for that exact purpose. It all makes sense now. |

| How bizarre that it would be routed through MA like that. Maybe the zip code on the package wasn't clear? |

| It does not suprise me, McDonalds ships their food from Florida to California, and from Ca to Florida for union work, uspo is real sloppy like that, next time I get parts, I will stay away from the post office |

Glen advertised some parts here and I contacted him that I wanted to buy the parts, but didn't know if I could make it over soon. He dropped the parts by my shop. My experience was good communication, and good service.
Thanks,
Russell Ludwig

yeah its a good idea to go fed ex rather than usps anymore. i use usps for small "priority mail" packages for items i sell on ebay but for any larger items, like car parts or musical instruments, i almost always go fed ex. they are 9 times out of 10 cheaper or the same cost as usps or ups. they also will still send larger packages cheaper where as once a package is over a certain size ups and usps charge a lot more and/or will only ship a certain way. especially with international shipping.
i was shipping a guitar to england and due to the size ups would only ship it 3 day air at $350. i ended up shipping it via fed ex for $110. _________________ "...theres nowhere to go but everywhere." - Kerouac

Bought 1914 longblock from seller vwgearhead on Ebay on Sept.2nd.
Never shipped. Seller had multiple excuses.
"Oh they didn't have the pushrods in stock." (Ok, so why sell something on Ebay and pretend like it's ready?)
Seller later asked for $65 extra for shipping. I paid.
Still didn't ship.
Had to claim on PayPal.
Got original payment refunded from PayPal on Friday after seller had not responded to PayPal within the alloted timeframe, however seller did not refund the $65 extra he demanded, so that money is lost.
All in all not satisfied, left neg. feedback on Ebay.
Seller has different auctions on Ebay now.
Auction text clearly states:
"LONGBLOCK SHIPS OUT THE FOLLOWING MONDAY OR THURSDAY OF PURCHASE"
...he should probably add "yeah right", "as if" or "in your dreams" to that

| There is always 2 sides to every story,I asked you where you wanted the longblock shipped and you say you dont know about shipping just get it shipped,I get it set up for shipping from old domian 10 miles from you on the original shipping fee you paid for(185.00) then you say you want it at your door(which is 65 more bucks said the shipping broker),I gave you the shipping brokers number and all of the shipping information, you could have called yourself to verify everthing, the new shipper(estes freight) was billed the day you decided you didnt want your motor, day of shipping,I corresponded with you and told you everything every step of the way, some parts are not in stock, but there it is,sorry you feel that way,I dont have any reason to try to fool you or try to play games with you,im passionate about what I build and I always give good parts and good prices,im not perfect but I am sincere.good day. |
