I think he's just posing the question of is he considered a "celebrity" or not... well in certain circles who are big NFL fan's I'd say yes... to most others... NO

I'd put Alan Klien in that category to... not many under the age of 45 would even know who he was... Certainly not considered "high profile" celeb's...

Not to defend Robert McNamara or anything, but he was one of the very first American Auto execs who actually cared about safety and did something about it:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lifeguard_%28Automobile_safety%29

At Ford:

http://www.americanheritage.com/articles/magazine/it/2007/1/2007_1_29.shtml

Quote:
He did have a vision for automobiles, but it had nothing to do with chrome or horsepower or tailfins. Instead he was absorbed by such novel concepts as safety, fuel economy, and basic utility. He advocated qualities that 20 years later would make Japanese carmakers big powers in the United States.

“He wanted small cars way back then,” recalls Lee Iacocca, who as a young man worked under McNamara. “He wanted pollution controls. I didn’t know what he meant when he talked about emissions in the 1950s. He said we had to start worrying about pollutants. People didn’t know what the hell the ecology was.”

McNamara also had a lot to do with the restructuring of Ford, and the slow demise of the Rouge plant,Henry Fords personal playground..when built it was the worlds largest industrial complex...A car guys dream...steel mill, foundry, glass plant, paint plant machine shops, assembly halls every thing to make a car in one spot, just add raw materials...

I'm getting pretty pissed over here today. My wife is watching the MJ funeral ferrago...they've just had the funeral ceremony at Forest Lawn and now they dragging his casket downtown.

Op...wait on Breaking News...his family have just announced...the casket has just been signed up to fulfill pre-booked dates on MJ's forthcoming world tour. Rolling Eyes

...WTF.

The LA Range Rover Dealer donated that fleet of matching black Rovers for the funeral. Smart, you know the crazy fans will be paying $1000's over invoice for them tomorrow and they'll all sell instantly.

Jeez that was 1966...didn't you hear about that? Shocked

Quote:
Paul McCartney died in a car accident on the 9th November 1966, and was replaced by someone, named Billy Shears, who had surgery to look like Paul McCartney.

Celebrity Death Match is (was) actually a show on MTV where a different pair of feuding celebrities, rendered in claymation, would fight to the death with their bare fists each week. Sorry to bore anyone already familiar with the show.
