Originalo, which bus is that? Do you have a pic of the whole bus?

Dash looks great, wish the bus was still in existence....cut up years ago.

Todd, is that from the (Soto) Colorado 52?

can someone clarify what colour deluxe steering columns and the column supports should be?
Ive seen apparent originals in all black, all ivory, ivory columns with black supports and ivory supports with black columns.
And in this one they are both red!

...The reason why you see this interesting DELUXE dash in combination with BLACK steering wheel, fuse-boxes, knobs and switches, black radio- and clock-plate, is because at the time THIS picture was featured in VW Informationen, there was NO DELUXE on 'the market' !!! I have this magazine somewhere, and I'm 99% sure it's the one from jan./feb. 1951, so BEFORE the deluxe came! (june '51, right??) The german text (the SMALL text!) says the dash (=armaturenbrett) was available, on demand, and at EXTRA cost (=Mehrpreis) to put a radio and clock in your 'Kleinbus' (so for your Standard)... the same text also says the Golde sunroof was av. for some extra cash |

That's a super early Bus. Note the rear upper vents like a Panel, the early Chocolate Bar cargo mat, short middle seat with no grab bars, etc. _________________ Please visit my website at http://www.holygrailgarage.com to see more interesting and collectible Vintage VWs and Parts for sale. Thanks.

certainly is cool. One of those real early standards with the panelvan high air vents. One piece front kick panel to.
I guess its probably a 10 window sunroof, amazing. |

BUCIOBATISTI - got there before me with the vents
bit of squeeze to get in the back with the middle seat that cant go forward. looks like it might have a bit more space the other side tho as
it looks like it might be a double door. |

That would be one hell of a bus to own right now!
How come the locking mechanism is on the wrong side door? You can also see that it's the same for the doors on the other side of the bus with the lever handle on the inside of the left hand door as you look through the bus _________________
