Nope, check out the ridge down the middle of the spokes. That is a reproduction incorrect one, I think empi first did 'em like that IIRC. _________________ http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=366056 - My '73 Super Build. 2332cc, 16" Fuchs |

what are you referring to?
the flat spoke like the first pic are styled after the sears raders. the ones on the ghia and in the pic above are styled after Empi radars. similar but completely different wheels. of course both of which are newer larger(17") repops of the original wheels. both are also being reproduced in the 15" size to. sears style by randee at randar. empi style by JGE and midland and maybe a coupla more. for some reason of the og wheels i like the sears version better but of al the current repops i like the empi version better. don't know why just do...ken.... _________________ ITMC

You talkin to me? if that's the case, yeah I was saying what you were saying pretty much, except to the guy who said "here's a better picture of em" He's incorrect, cause those are the empi style ones. _________________ http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=366056 - My '73 Super Build. 2332cc, 16" Fuchs |
