I don't know the year but they should not be aftermarket since they have the VW symbol.

I believe some of the bolts used for the engine lid prop have a VW stamp.

..i have no idea of their origin ( other than they MAY have come from Oz)

I don't think there are any VW nuts, because they are a standard product.
all those VW stamped bolts are specifically produced for the Beetle/bus.
early beetle wheel bolts also have a stamped VW logo but offset to the edge of the hexhead, not in center.

A number of other VW wheel bolts have a small VW logo but I was thinking that was too heavy and the logo too small.
