I have a custom setup on my 58, It's a large flange header with a thrush muffler replacing the muffler that came on it(i got it used and the muffler was rusted thru.) Sounds good and was free minus my labor so i can't complain. _________________ May '58 Deluxe Beetle

im running a crappy empi header with a hideaway muffler . header is appx 5 years old and muffler is over 3. it is just now starting to show a touch of surface rust. one thing i learned over the years with most low end exhaust systems is that longetivity is directly related to how you iniatially prep the system before first installing it. _________________ 67 bug |

Cermic coated A-1 with a Flowmaster; no heat, just J-tubes.
