Hey all -

I Have an opportunity to get all of the bodywork (including the rust around the windshield...woohoo) and re-paint done on my '69 Westy.

The original color is pearl white - however, I want to make it two-tone (cloud white upper). What color would you suggest or want if you had this chance?

What difference does it make what any of us would do with the paint? Paint it whatever color your little heart desires. Asking what color everyone here would paint it is pretty pointless. Rolling Eyes

This is a good question. All the stock VW colors look equally blah. But non stock colors never look right on a VW. So what can you do?Has anyone figured out this conundrum?

Such a bunch of sarcastic folk we have today. Geez!

Are you going to remove the interior and paint that, too? If not, I'd stick with the original color. White is always nice, anyway. It goes with anything. Smile

I don't usually like white on cars but on some it looks great - one of them being the Bus. That said, which two-tone are you going for, the proper '69 from the gutters up or the later style?

My Bus is Sierra Yellow, which I've grown to like. I've always liked Niagara Blue, however.

When I get my Bus re-painted next year, however, I'm going with Imola Orange Pearl on the bottom and Pearl White on the top.
