Hello all,

I'm a Puma enthusiat from Brazil. I'd just like to know that if you need any information regarding Puma you can count on me. If you are searching for the original standards in order to restore an old Puma I can help.

Fiber Hugs from Brazil,
Rodrigo Almeida

I have the GTC and the wiring is a mess. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the 1980 version?

Thanks for the help to all my new friends!

Rodrigo
Do you know who made the rocker switches (3) on the lower left panel of the steering column? I have front lights running lights but no rears and the switch is missing. Interior lights come on with running lights.

Thanks for any information you can supply!

sorry for the very late reply.

It's VWs. Mine came from VW Brasilia which should be the very same used in Beetle.

If you have an earlier version, it came from Karmann Ghia.

Hi Rodrigo,

I know I have a lot of questions and am thankful for any you can answer.

I have a yellow 1983 GTC. It is in good shape and I believe that everything is stock.

Do you know if I can add this full flow oil pump on this page?
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=84077

The alt stand from this page
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=519841

I really want to add the Mexican EFI with the electronic distributor, coil, idle valve etc. Do you know anyone who has done this?

Thank you

Hi Jimmy,

I'm really sorry for the very long delay. Did you already figure this out or still need help?

Sorry again and thanks!

Hello, where can I get the brake and clutch pedal pads? the pedals have a smaller surface so bug pads are very loose and slip off.

Thanks Scott

Nice clutch update. I wondered if I should have done that to mine. I just replaced the clutch and accel cables the other week because the PO had stock T-1 cables cut and clamped. Nice to have proper length Puma cables back in. I probably should have upgraded the clutch arm at that time.

Interesting on your cluster it looks all metal. Mine is cast alum with only metal arms/pedals.

It is an Orignal Puma set I was sent to restore, It has had my "Bulletproofing" done to it like box in the clutch pedal Etc.,
the Gas Pedal Is a Fast Fab billet replacement, and the Clutch hook is a CMA-VW.com stainless steel Heim set up, cables are availiable in any length, and are good up to 3000#.

the arms are steel and the base is Magnesium,

Thanks Scott
