Wow, beautiful bus! Can you not post so many pics in one time for us users with older and slower computers? It took me 15 minutes for the page to load, it was worth it though. Very cool bed system, but it must take ages to set up.

Welcome to the samba !

Looks good, did you hammer the flange into the roof opening edge like Westfalia did?

The guy took the time to show all those pictures to us and the first thing you do is complain about it?

Get a broadband connection!

Rico:

Your bus is amazing! I love the idea of the bed scaffold in the front. I may just have to steal it! Smile

Is there any way you can post the lengths of the pipes?

Thanks!

X2, I like pics, sure it took almost a minute to load but they're nice pics of a nice bus, and different than alot of the other busses here, sure beats those threads with one crappy cell phone pic in the dark of a funky bus that should be going to the crusher. I found other things to do while it loaded and it was worth the wait. Wink

One of the pictures shows a bus on cinder blocks or concrete blocks....either way this isn't really safe...get some jack stands before somebody gets hurt...

Awesome bus though! Laughing

Take it as a hint to get rid of windows 95, your 120Mhz computer with dial up! Time marches on.

I've got vista and loads of speed and memory and its still loading after ten minutes with lots of the red x's in boxes left behind. Its the dialup. I can't get anything else here. But I'm not complaining. Its just not all computer. Its the slow connection. People in slow zones just have to deal.

Nice bus Rico. Awesome fabri'que mon ami. Tre magnifique. Did I get that right? My french sucks! Nice pics too!

Not trying to dis you or anything but,...

I'm betting thats just the body. I say its stripped down and sitting on the blocks for painting. Anybody else wanna lay some odds on that? I've seen tons of painters do that. The body all stripped weighs practically nothing. Two or four guys could pick it up easy. I mean did you see the quality of the guys work. I think he is smart enough not to knock it off the blocks and kill himself. Looks like he's been doing this for awhile. He's got his own shop. I'm betting he has plenty jackstands.

No malice intended, TH

I would wager he posted all these pics because of the concern from the other post. He was asking about putting a westy top-with continental bedding on. We all looked as his bus as a sweet unmolested deal. I can see that its a work in progress with tastefull mods and updates added.

Looks sweet. Will be even better with the new top.
