Previous owner cut part of it out for some ingenious modification. Luckily he left all the numbers and body plates intact! Nothing a little donor panels can't fix!

So here is the story. I heard of this bus grom quite a few of the Las Vegas VW Club guys in town. A few of them have put offers on this bus but the owner never wanted to sell it. So I tried myself and ended up bringing it home. Lucky me! The story goes, the bus comes from California in the late 50s. The current owner bought it from the original owner in 1963. He planned on restoring it with his son when he was 13. Nevertheless, they never got around to restoring it! It sat under their awning in the beautiful dry Nevada desert. The took all the smaller parts off of it and stored them inside in a box. When I bought it they gave me all the parts and while I was going through all the parts I was pleasantly suprised. Here some more pics of the bus. I hope you enjoy!
