Contact Kinstown shipping in Hull, ask for Mark, he will sort you out no hassles and let you know what it'll cost, they work either thamesport or felixstowe, i think felixstowe is the cheaper option into the UK. They handle imported VWs week in week out so know how to do it.
You have to factor the VAT so bill of sale value is important , if you can prove to customs the vehicle originated in an EU country (ie germany) then you only pay a flat rate duty of £50 instead if the full 10% total value of the bus+shipping. You can prove this by searching out the M codes from the bus or getting a birth cert from VW (£25 ish)
your costs will roughly be your shipping to Felixstowe for one vehicle i think about £1300 roughly, then duty £50 and unloading/handling and customs clearance about £300 total then you only need to worry about the VAT.
so working it out from your budget...
£4500
-1300
-350
-17.5
you have about £2400 to spend, thats about $3700 to spend on a vehicle. _________________ |©¯¯©| & (Ө\ ! /Ө)

Devils' have u used Kingston & if so, when?
Based on ur figures above it appears I need to get saving if I want to get another vw & from the us. But the ££ conversion/charges are helpful. |
