Go to this web site and look for “Misc. Techniques”, Steering Wheel Restoration. This should give you what your looking for. http://www.thebugshop.org/gotech.htm
I just did mine; on a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 8+. I used the Eastwood kit after trying the POR 15 version. POR 15 was OK, but it left more bubbles and pits in the filler material than the Eastwood kit. Also, I suggest you cut out your cracks with the smallest but deepest “V” groove you can use. Too much gap will cause hours of hand sanding. I painted with PPG DCC over DP40 epoxy primer with the flexible part hardener. I took my glove box to the PPG dealer to match the original L41 color.
Good Luck, _________________ 3Bugs
