That just pisses me off. I hate hit and splitters. Sal is one of the nicest guys I know. I feel really bad for Sal and Jamie. Sometimes circumstances make no sense, but at least Sal survived it. My prayers go to Sal for a rapid recovery.

I am not sure if anyone knows how to get a hold of Brad's Dad, but we are all still planning on going this weekend. If anyone has his number, or has more info regarding the memorial trip this weekend, please post some info. I should be arriving at the Afton Canyon campground between 12 and 1 p.m. on Friday.

GET WELL SOON, SAL!!! Hang in there, buddy...

Aw man, what a huge bummer. Sal, hoping you have a quick recovery buddy. And be sure to let me know if you need anything. Anything at all.

I spoke with Owen this morning, and everything is still a go. He sends Sal his best on a quick recovery. As far as anyone else going out this weekend, we will see you then!

Yes, im lucky to be alive. Last thing i remember is being at my buddys shop at 1pm next thing i know i wake up strapped to a gurney throwing up on myself. They tell me relax you've been in a accident. Then they start sewing my ear on. I feel like i've been through a meat grinder, i hurt everywhere. I dont remember leaving my friends shop i was knocked out cold for about 4 hours, i think i got hit from behind on the bike and my injuries are consistent with it. I can feel my clavicle move around and it hurts like a mofo, i busted my cheek on my left side and got roadrash and cuts everywhere. Im trying to get my surgery today i can barely move my jaw but can't eat, im just glad im still alive. Were still trying to get police info about my accident all we know is somebody saw me laying face down in a ditch and called 911 and they scooped me up and took me to the hospital, they thought i was homeless, i had my dirty working on cars clothes. They put a band saying i didnt have insurance, lol. Harbor UCLA is terrible. I sobbed a little bit when i was in the gurney and realized what had happened and figured going to Owens on sunday to work on my car wasn't happenin, lol. You guys better take a bunch of pics i wish i could be there. Thanks for your kind words and support.

First cancer and now a hit and run. You are one tough son of a gun. I bet you would bounce off the ground with a failed parachute. Glad to hear you're ok. I hope they get the scumbag that kept on driving.

We're loaded and ready to head out. Should be on the road by 8am. 1 stop at Pacific customs and we are there. Probably between 1 and 2.

I just finished prepping the car... no leak, all electrical working as normal. Brake pedal is a huge improvement after rebuilding both master cylinders. One drive around the block tonight, and tomorrow morning up into the trailer. If it wasn't for the last minute, nothing would ever get done! Cool Laughing Laughing

Happy to report im on my way to recovery i have both surgeries scheduled for next week. My colar bone was so badly broke that it needs surgery to be repaired that is happening on Monday, then my orbital cheek fracture which is broken in three spots will fixed with a surgery on Friday. My wife has been pounding on doors and making calls trying to find out what happened to me. As of today Harbor Police, the Fire department, and ambulance service are all pointing their fingers at each other for the responsiblilty of the report, lol. So there is no report of my accident and i really dont care to ever find out what happened im just glad to be alive. Special thanks to my wife Jamie for taking care of me in the ER and everything she has done since-Love You !!!
