another crappy spring meet once again with about a million waterpumpers...WTF!

It sucks when 2/3rds of the show is watercooled. But you couldn't ask for a better day (weather wise).

i thought it was a nice show...way better then the octo show...plus a nice day. now if they could only move it to a drag strip and add some real fun...wish my bus would have been together for the show....

they turned away quite a few people who wanted to sell or show. supposedly there were no spaces left. what a load of crap. there was plenty of space in the paved areas.

Call me Bias, but I think the watercooled cars need their own show. Either that or have more of the swap space for show cars and move the swappers out to one of the barns next to it, after all, how much engine tin and old moldy seat belts do we need to look at anyway?
P.S. The parking lot is always a good time though. Anyone see that green rag on Porcshe twist by the entrance...DAMN that shit was sweet!

I'm so glad to hear you guys slam the show. It was my first time and I wasn't too impressed, less-so considering my drive (4+ hours r/t). Is the one at Shoreline better? I had a lot more fun in the parking lot than inside, except for my $5 steering wheel.

it was really nice to meet rick(66 split) and cameron(camrod) and finally put faces to names. rick, by the sounds of it, your bus is going to put mine to shame when its done!

also really fun watching my man john main(grey airbagged panel from victoria) up in the front and draggin his rear bumper all the way out of the parking lot! hell ya!!!

Ya, I like how the Type 2 stock class was one by a custom 23 window and I was disqualified because my fuel filter is next to my manifold and they told me it was unsafe. Also that in order to have a chance in the future I must have my tool and a fire extinguisher in view as well as having a perfect paintjob or I will never have a chance. This was my last try at coming to this show and I will not make that mistake again. Oh, from what I hear the t-shirts that were given out only have waterpumpers on it, why am I not surprised.

Springmeet always sucks because the club that puts it on consists of a bunch of friggin' dildos. Dont even get me started on springmeet. 1st off, I have been swapping at springmeet for years, and right from the setup the night before to the cleanup on sunday it is nothing but a mess. I was crowded into one tiny space (they keep shirinking every year) while three spaces next to me stayed un-occupied! Then I hear stories about them turning away swappers? I also agree that it is time for the waterpumpers to have a seperate show. If you want to have fun at a WA show, go to Volksfest in Yakima (actually Natches). It is way laid back, and has a great show what you brung kind of vibe going on, puls it is in a really nice park. They have a great BBQ and a good cruise-in.
