After we sold our partybus a year and a half ago ........

The Partybus:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQLRNozy-Mw

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4MnaKX-UQU&feature=channel

The last 18 months we've had several other projects but always wants a cool ride for low cash. To much work and less time, and those are 2 things which do not go togethter most of time.

So we've sold our daily driver and bought a beauty

VW T1 Microbus deluxe Samba
21 windows with rare sliding-door option
30-09-1965
1500 cc

Some history of this samba:

German bus driven till 1984
In 1989 bought by the second owner who started the restoration untill a few years ago.

The bus is born 30-09-1965 and we bought it 30-09-2009

Beautiful paintjob.
No rust or bad repairing

MINOR: the previous owner made a walk-through. Good job, but not original so that we must turn to original.

We're now planning to build a chill and cosy customize interior with

Rocknroll bed
Good music
fridge
eberspacher

After that save some money for nice rims, loweringjob, bigger engine, straight-axle with high-range gearbox and some nice options

At the end we hope we'll have a really personalized bus who fits us perfectly Cool

Going to events, party's, on holiday.......... Just get in, turn the key and drive. Summer or winter !

We're really thankful we had the option buying this samba Very Happy

Hangloose

You guys look like lots of fun. Your singing sucks but you make up for it with the phallic palm.

What was the purpose of sanding off perfectly good paint? Are you going for the faux patina look or are you getting ready for a respray? It sure looked good before that.

I would have touched that paint with some wax, or maybe a microfiber cloth, but sand paper? Really?

I though it looked good, not to say it looks bad now. It just used to look a lot better.

Anyway, I'm still enjoying your build. You guys like to party.

The paint looked good, and so did the stock height, and wheels, but nice bus.

This has the potential of getting uglier than the Sea Foam bus thread on the bay window forum. Shocked
