Wheels are 17x7 in the front and 18 x 10 rear. I believe they have a 35 mm off set on rear. Wish I would went a little bigger on back though. Thanks guys for all the kind words. Can't wait to see how it handles. Now if I could just get my brother in law to follow through on his commitment to build my dad and my roll cage

Thanks man. Just got it running. Need to adjust the shift rod so that I can find first gear and then I'm off and running. Hopefully I can get this roll cage built soon also.

My brother in law is going to do my roll cage and he is in no hurry. I'm thinking of buying all the material and just showing up over there. I first need a bumper to mount my plate too

After almost two damn months this company finally managed to get the scoop to me. This is the plan to get air to the radiator. Will eventually get a 4" carbon fiber one. This will work for now.

I was worried with the air flow but it looks like the air will flow over the windshield and into the scoop nicely.

I have been following your build for a long time. In fact your is what gave me the idea to to use large wheels. How much did you have your Buggy lowered when you had the VW Engine in it? That way I can make a educated guess about mine. I have 18" in the rear and 16" for the front.

Think I had the spring plates at about 15 degrees. Not quite sure. I have since lifted it since the Subi motor is heavier. I put adjustable spring plates on it but have not been able to get the ride height right yet. To be honest the first time I lowered it, I think I just got lucky. Sorry that probably didn't help much.
