Great 1st show for the Oil Capital Air Cooled VW crew. We hade 50+ cars today. I think over half were buses! I think we spanned 3 states? Maybe 4? The motto of this club has always been Keep it simple and Drive your Air Cooled Cars. And, with that we had great success today. Great job everyone!

To those that couldn't make it out, you missed out on a great show. Next year will be even bigger!

Hopefully, some will get some pics up soon...

Great show! Thanks to everyone who came out on a chance to support this first year start up show. I think the final count was 54 Air Cooled Volkswagens with 25 or 26 of those being buses. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. A special thanks to all the OCAC members that made this happen. Here are some of my pics.

One of my favorite shots here. The old buses mixed with the old brick buildings, and a great blue sky.

The firemen that showed up to check out the show were very complimentary of what we had put together.

To Greg Kimberly and Austin, sorry you all couldn't be here but thanks for helping with getting this ball rolling. Here's to many more years of OCAC car shows!

Everyone please feel free to give us your feedback on the show. We want to know the good and the bad so we can make this an ever improving show. I heard nothing but good stuff yesterday except one guy who said, if we charge people to get in we might get more people to show up. Shocked I think we'll keep it free for now. Very Happy

Congrats, guys. I'm glad everything went well. I know this was alot of work -- and probably some stress, too. Looks like the weather was nice -- that always helps.

Love the big % of busses.

Scotty

Good show, great location and easy to find, pretty nice folks too... I don't understand how charging an admission could boost attendance but who knows? I'd say you put together a very good show for a first time attempt, You kept it simple and folks simply had a good time....Now those of you who missed it really did miss something but maybe next year huh? I'll see you all in Eureka and this time I will have the 58 Ghia with me up and running.. Hey everybody has excuses for falling short of the mark mine is working 12 and 14 hr days which cuts into my time to work on the aircooled stuff but the way things are today I aint bitchin too loud..... Good on you aircooled guys and gals Very Happy cya later

Squareonair, I didn't know you were there. I don't think I have met you yet. I wish I would have know.

Glad you made it out.

Congrats, folks, on a great maiden voyage! Looks like the weather cooperated and plenty of cars turned out.

Wish I could have been there but thrilled to see how great it turned out.

I'll plan to make it to next years!

Good turn out guys! Wish I was there. I'd sneak off to Cherry Street to Fullmoon Cafe and get me some Tortillia soup. Tulsa rocks!

Sorry I couldn't make it over. Looks like it was a good time. My kind of show; small, simple, cool people and real, driven cars.

Better luck with my schedule next year hopefully.

Was a nice little laid back show...good job to all who organized it.
Tulsa is a nice little big town.
There were 3 Things for sale in the area and this show to see...so I made a mini vacation to Tulsa.
Brought an empty trailer from St Louis...went home with a '73 Thing Very Happy

Here are some pics I took...next year I'll drive something VW there.
