It has been two years since I took the gas tank out of my 70 bus. the wire from the gauge in th efront was still attached to the center contact on the sending unit, but the ground wire was off and I have forgotten where to attach it. does it simply slip under the head of one of the screws holding the sending unit to the tank?

On my 74 a sheet metal screw holds it to the roof of the gas tank cavity, i think, i had mine out about 2 mos ago

| I could tell where to attach the end that goes to the body and you are right, a sheet metal screw hold that end to the roof. It it the end of the ground screw that goes to the sender that has me confused. |
