Wasn't that the bus up for auction that was used to make the show Lost? I remember seeing a thread about it.
If it is then that totally explains the insane price. _________________ 1972 Deluxe named Lucidity

I did verify that number. It is real and the car world is still wondering what happened. Our belief is that the prices on VW buses will continue to climb for another 10 - 20 years. _________________ “Most people don’t know what they’re doing, and a lot of them are really good at it.” - George Carlin |

It's not that the bus is worth anything, it's the fact that people think it might end up valuable like Michaels white gloves.
Tell me that there wouldn't be serious rust issues on that island after all those years . _________________ 71 Superbug

Before I posted it I typed "Lost" and "Lost Bus" into the search box and could not find the thread, plus I thought a Bus selling at auction having its own thread would not disturb the Farce too much.
I guess with Buses there are a lot of things "lost" with them! _________________ "I spud therefore I yam." |
